Your factory, construction site, abattoir, or engineering facility is only as safe as the employees working for you—often, they work alone, without your oversight. They must know what to do when an unexpected event occurs to manage the most rapid response possible and minimise risk exposure, injuries, and even deaths.

We can help you with your safety training programme either on-site or at our head office in Midrand. There, we have classrooms and scaffolding to train employees working at heights. This division aims to take the burden of compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act away from you so that you can focus on your core functions.

We have partnered with MSHEQ to provide comprehensive training.

Health Switch

A streamlined, flexible, cost-effective way to manage and switch occupational health medical record examinations across multiple companies and industries. Our options include:

  1. Health Switch Activation (Unlimited Switches) – Best for businesses with a mobile workforce, contractors, or those who need frequent switches due to varying job locations or projects.
  2. Flexi Switch (Cost per Switch) – For companies with fewer switches or those needing to manage costs on a per-switch basis. Additional fees may apply, which are primarily related to changes in the employee’s risk exposure due to job or industry changes:
  3. Continued Flexibility After Assessment – Once the investigation and upgrade are completed, you can switch the employee’s medical records between companies with no additional switching fees. This ensures the employee remains compliant and safe, regardless of changes to the job or industry.

This service allows you to change the company name on a worker’s valid medical certificate, as long as:

  • The job description stays the same.
  • The risk exposure is unchanged.
  • The industry remains consistent (e.g. construction to construction).

The medical clearance remains valid for one year from the first assessment date, regardless of the number of times it has been transferred between companies. This ensures that all employees’ health assessments are up-to-date and reflect their current work conditions, maintaining the highest standards of safety and well-being across the board.

This process guarantees that your employees are adequately protected and medically cleared for the specific risks associated with their new roles, helping you maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Safety Files

We will open and manage your contractor health and safety files for you, ensuring that all documentation required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Construction Regulations is properly kept and maintained.

Risk Assessments

We will conduct a complete audit to assess your compliance with all aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. This includes a general facility safety inspection of aspects such as storage, lighting, air handling, sanitation, hazardous products, emergency equipment, and so forth. We also develop safety plans as well as fall protection plans. In addition, we offer contractor management to ensure that contractors working on your premises follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

This ensures that their activities do not place you at risk of non-compliance. Our inspectors and assessors have expert knowledge, experience and familiarity with the health and safety hazards and risks specific to the following industries:

  • Construction
  • Food handling
  • Manufacturing & Engineering
  • Transport, Logistics and Warehousing
  • Agriculture, including Chicken and Wine farms and Abattoirs
  • Cleaning, Hygiene and Recycling
  • Telecommunications
  • Safety & Security
  • Mining

We will visit your business premises, factory, or job site to assess any potential risk or hazard that could harm or endanger your employees. We subscribe to industry-specific best practices in all our workplace health and safety audits and provide you with quality insights to create corrective actions for issues that need immediate resolution.

Incident Investigation

We can investigate all workplace incidents and help you develop and implement action plans to prevent them from happening again.

Personal Protective Equipment & Gear

We supply affordable Personal Protective Equipment & Gear (PPEG) and safety gear across all the industries we service. Our expert advisers will help you determine which items of PPEG are best suitable for your employees’ work, such as flame-retardant overalls for those who use cutting torches. As a proudly South African company, we endeavour to support local PPE manufacturers.
