PrDP and depot medicals without parking your fleet.
A mobile clinic comes to the depot or warehouse, or a single driver walks into one of four fixed clinics between loads. The PrDP medical is the headline service.
BEE Level 2
A fleet cannot run on an expired PrDP.
Depots and warehouses get a mobile clinic at the gate. A single driver walks into one of four fixed clinics between loads. The four problems below are the ones fleets bring us most.
A driver's PrDP lapses with loads on the board, and the truck parks until it is renewed. We track every renewal on one planner and re-test before the date, at the clinic or at your depot.
A walk-in medical should not cost a full day's route. Our clinics take walk-ins, and a booking beats the queue. Busiest 8am to 2pm; afternoons are quieter.
Pickers, packers and forklift drivers cannot all leave the floor at once. From 10 workers on one depot, a mobile clinic works at your gate in one planned window, weekdays and Saturdays.
A client onboarding or an audit asks for medical certificates and the paper file has gaps. Every Care Net medical lives in My Clinic Online, so the proof is a search away, not a storeroom away.
Need drivers cleared this week?
Tell us how many drivers and where they are based. A sales executive replies the same working day with a fixed-price proposal.
Your Medical Surveillance Plan is only as strong as the law behind it.
Most plans are written once, copied often, and quietly go stale while the regulations move on. The Care Net Method is our answer: a maintained, versioned body of South African occupational health law that every Plan is built against, reviewed monthly, and ratified by a registered Occupational Medical Practitioner.
Many Care Net clients qualify for the assessment at no charge. It takes a minute to find out.
Do you qualify for a free assessment?
Two questions. No personal or health information is asked.
Eligibility is confirmed by a sales executive before any waiver is applied.
Built for the way a fleet actually runs.
The same SANS-aligned medicals, at the depot for the team or at the clinic for one driver between loads.
Mobile clinics work at the depot or warehouse for teams. Fixed clinics handle a single driver between loads. One partner covers both.
OperationsProfessional drivers on public roads can add the PrDP medical, an add-on at additional cost, because the OMP completes an online verification and issues the additional documents.
DriversA single driver needing a PrDP or depot medical can walk into any of our four clinics between loads and leave with the medical done.
Any fleet sizeOur clinics run on inverters and generators. Unless a natural disaster or an unforeseen event closes us, the clinic is open.
Every regionEvery medical is captured in My Clinic Online, our POPIA-aware record system, and stays retrievable for the full periods the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations require.
SHEQFixed clinics, mobile clinics and records under one roof, with clear unit pricing agreed up front. No surprises at month end.
ProcurementThe PrDP medical screens vision, hearing, blood pressure and blood sugar, so a health risk shows up at the desk, not at the wheel on the N3. Your drivers stay well enough to keep earning.
DriversWhat your workforce gets out of it.
Medicals are a legal duty, but a well-run programme also looks after the people who keep the trucks rolling and the orders moving.
Renewals tracked on one planner mean a PrDP is re-tested before it lapses, so a driver is never grounded by a date that crept up.
DriversA mobile clinic at the gate from 10 workers clears pickers, packers and forklift operators in one window, so the picking line is not emptied for a day.
OperationsLong-haul work drifts towards high blood pressure, blood sugar and hearing loss. The medical screens for them, so a worker gets a heads-up while it can still be managed.
WellbeingA driver who tests in Midrand and renews in Gqeberha keeps one record in My Clinic Online. No lost paper, no repeat tests, no gaps at audit.
SHEQOperator fitness is confirmed before training, so a Driven Machinery licence is not later questioned for a missing medical.
OperatorsEvery certificate verifies online in seconds, so a client onboarding or a load tender is answered with evidence, not promises.
ProcurementOperators. Drivers. Sorted.
A professional driver needs a valid medical certificate of fitness, and the PrDP covers vision, hearing, blood pressure, blood sugar and overall fitness for categories G, P and D, including e-hailing drivers. The PrDP medical is an add-on at additional cost, because the OMP completes an online verification and issues the additional documents. One driver can walk in; a booking beats the queue.

Every medical is captured in My Clinic Online, our POPIA-aware record system. Any Care Net certificate can be checked online in seconds, so the weighbridge never waits on a paper trail.

The law sets different retention periods for different records: some are kept for 5 years, and medical surveillance records for hazardous exposure are kept for 40 years from the date of the last entry, as the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations require. Paper records are easy to lose, hard to secure, and seldom survive these periods intact, which puts your POPIA compliance and your audit defence at risk. Your Care Net records sit in a secure, POPIA-compliant digital storage environment for as long as the law prescribes, ready for audits and access requests.

An audit-ready certificate of fitness and a completed Man Job Spec for every worker.
Four clinics. Real reviews on Google.
One driver or a handful of workers? Walk in, or call to book and skip the queue. Ratings shown are from our Google Business Profiles.
Honest reviews build trust with the next visitor and help us invest in better clinic experiences. If something went wrong, please tell our team before you leave; we solve problems on the spot.
The duty is yours. We make it provable.
Transport and warehousing medicals answer to road law and health law at the same time. These are the rules behind every certificate we issue, in plain language, with the source one click away.
The Occupational Health and Safety Act requires every employer to provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risk to the health of employees. Medical surveillance is how a transport or warehousing employer proves that duty is met. We run it for you, at the depot or at the clinic.
Read the ActA professional driver needs a valid medical certificate of fitness, and the PrDP under the National Road Traffic Act covers vision, hearing, blood pressure, blood sugar and overall fitness for categories G, P and D, including e-hailing drivers. We complete the medical; the OMP completes the online verification and issues the additional documents.
Read the ActLift trucks and other lifting machines may only be operated by trained, licensed operators. Before training or re-licensing, the National Code of Practice requires a medical certificate or employer declaration of medical fitness, plus an eye test; a valid PrDP can stand in for the eye test. We confirm the fitness before the training, not after the incident.
Read the Code of PracticeWhere workers are exposed at or above the noise rating limit, the regulations require audiometric testing: a baseline before exposure and periodic tests after. Loading bays, workshops and reefer plants are noisier than they feel. Our audiometry follows SANS 10083.
Read the regulationsThe Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Agents require medical surveillance for workers exposed to listed chemical agents, and diesel exhaust in enclosed depots and workshops is a real exposure. The exposure form for the job tells the OMP what to test.
Read the regulationsThe Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act covers employees injured on duty or who contract occupational diseases, and every employer must register and report. A complete, current medical file is the evidence that supports the claim and protects both sides.
Read the ActThe employer completes the risk-based exposure form for the job before medicals day, so the practitioner knows the route, the exposures and the protective equipment. Send it with the worker or attach it to your booking.

What does a grounded driver or a stopped line cost?
Put in your own figures. The calculator works out what one day of grounded drivers and idle depot workers costs you. Then compare that with a planned medicals day, where the clinic comes to you and nobody leaves for a queue. It runs in your browser, so no data leaves the page.
Your estimate
An estimate from your own figures, before contract penalties, missed-load charges and the cost of rebuilding a rushed medicals schedule. It is not a quote or financial advice.

Short, plain-language videos. The first group plans the medicals; the second explains the medical itself.
Straight answers, before medicals day.
What exactly is a PrDP medical?
The PrDP is the professional driving permit for categories G, P and D, including e-hailing drivers. The medical covers vision, hearing, blood pressure, blood sugar and overall fitness. It is an add-on at additional cost, because the OMP completes an online verification and issues the additional documents.
How fast can one driver be cleared?
Walk into any of our four clinics between loads, or book to skip the queue. Busiest 8am to 2pm; afternoons are quieter. The medical is done in the same visit, and the certificate verifies online in seconds.
How does a depot book a mobile clinic?
From 10 workers on one depot or site, a mobile clinic works at your gate and clears the team in one planned window, weekdays and Saturdays included. Tell us the head count and the dates in the quote form, and a sales executive builds the plan with you.
Do forklift drivers inside the warehouse need medicals too?
Yes. Lift truck operators are licensed under the Driven Machinery Regulations, and the National Code of Practice requires a medical certificate or employer declaration of medical fitness, plus an eye test, before operator training or re-licensing. We confirm the fitness before the training.
Does an Uber or Bolt driver need the PrDP medical?
Yes. E-hailing drivers carry passengers for reward, so the PrDP requirement under the National Road Traffic Act applies to them like any other professional driver. One driver can walk in between trips.
What does the driver medical test?
Vision on the Keystone screen, hearing, blood pressure, blood sugar and overall fitness, matched to the exposure form for the job. The OMP reviews the medical and, for the PrDP, completes the online verification and issues the additional documents.
How often must medicals be repeated?
The repeat schedule comes from your risk assessment and the exposure for the job, and the Occupational Medical Practitioner confirms it for each worker. We track every renewal date on one planner, so a certificate or PrDP is re-tested before it lapses, not after.
What must the worker bring on the day?
A risk-based exposure form completed by the employer. An ID or passport, since no examination can be done without identification. Glasses or hearing aids if used, and an audiologist report if applicable. Take chronic medication as usual, and avoid noise, food, sugar, energy drinks and smoking for one hour before the medical.
How long must the medical records be kept?
The law sets different retention periods: some records are kept for 5 years, and medical surveillance records for hazardous exposure are kept for 40 years from the last entry, as the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations require. Paper struggles with that. Care Net keeps every record in secure, POPIA-compliant digital storage.
Depot or driver? Both routes are covered.
From 10 workers on one depot or site, one of our 16 mobile clinics comes to your gate and clears the team in one planned window, weekdays and Saturdays. For one driver or a small team, the fixed clinic medicals page covers the walk-in route.
